The Green Bay Packers suffered a major injury setback when Quay Walker was ruled out of their Week 15 triumph over the Seattle Seahawks due to an ankle injury sustained late in the first half.
Quay Walker required medical care and walked off the field, looking despondent. Quay Walker was replaced as middle linebacker by Eric Wilson. At this moment, the Green Bay Packers have not issued an update on his condition.
“Yeah, so we saw him get injured at the end of the first half,” NBC Sports’ Melissa Stark reported. “He spent seven minutes inside the hospital tent. When he came out, he had significantly more tape on his left ankle. “He limped around in pain.”
“You see he had the towel over his head in frustration,” Stark told him. “He is out because of that ankle,” the sideline reporter explained.
Why are we losing Quay? Walker is challenging for the Green Bay Packers.
Quay Walker leads the Green Bay Packers with 102 total tackles (72 solo, 30 assisted). The Georgia product has 2.5 sacks under his belt.
Walker made three tackles before leaving the game. He finished with a low 44.2 PFF grade after allowing a catch in coverage on one of his 22 total snaps.
The Green Bay Packers’ defence is already missing cornerback Jaire Alexander and safety Javon Bullard due to injuries.
