The contenders for the 2023 Rawlings Gold Glove Award were announced on Wednesday afternoon, with the winners to be revealed on ESPN’s “Baseball Tonight” on Sunday, Nov. 5, at 7:30 p.m. ET.

• Gold Glove Award winners all-time

Orioles' Adley Rutschman, Ryan Mountcastle, Austin Hays named Gold Glove Award finalists

The 30 MLB managers and up to six coaches from each team vote from a pool of players in their league, excluding players from their own team, to decide the champions at the nine standard positions. These votes account for 75% of the total selection, with the SABR Defensive Index accounting for the remaining 25%.

Rawlings worked with SABR to develop a customized defensive formula apart from the regular selection procedure for the utility position.
