The Wisconsin football social media staff created images and distributed them to their new freshman. The visuals were created to highlight why each of them chose to come to Wisconsin, and each one contains some fantastic sentiments. Jaylen Williams, a 4-star signee, may have delivered one of the better ones.
Jaylen Williams called his decision to come to Wisconsin a “no-brainer”
Williams is one of Wisconsin’s top recruits and will play an important role in the program’s future. It’s even possible that he gets some early action from his linebacker position. He said he chose the Badgers because of its culture, coaching staff, and growth process.
“I chose Wisconsin because of the locker room mentality and the Mad-town atmosphere. I adore what coach Fick and coach Mitchell have in store for me – not only to be a great football player, but also to grow into a wonderful man. That’s why Wisconsin was such an obvious choice for me.”

The 11 players are: Luke Emmerich, Jaimier Scott, Eugene Hilton Jr., Hardy Watts, Xavier Ukponu, Michael Roeske, Jaylen Williams, Nolan Davenport, Nicolas Clayton, Mason Poa, Grant Dean, and Sam Lateju. Each has their own reason and quote for choosing to come to Wisconsin and play football for Luke Fickell.
This is a significant season for Luke Fickell, who many analysts believe is on the hot seat. He has a short leash with the fanbase; some still want to see him achieve success with his own recruitment. Now that he is in his third season, the prospects from his initial recruiting cycle should receive considerable playing time.
