Hocevar, who was battling for position, made contact with Chastain’s No. 1 Chevrolet, sending him up the track and allowing other competitors to capitalize on the chaos.
After the checkered flag waved, Chastain addressed the situation, stating, “Carson and I are good. We talked about it, and I understand he was going for the win just like I was. But I can’t lie—I feel like that win was taken away from me. We had the best car, and it just didn’t play out the way it should have.”
