According to our sources, Popovich appeared to be battling with the effects of a small stroke he sustained while at the establishment in early November… and had been there for over two hours before the medical emergency.

Officials said they arrived to the site after receiving a complaint of an older individual who had fainted… and the patient was sent to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries or illnesses.

According to another source, Pop was conscious and conversing when he entered the back of the truck… and he is now home and doing well.

Popovich has stepped aside from the Spurs to focus on his health, with assistant Mitch Johnson serving as temporary head coach in his place.

It was revealed in February that he will not return this season.

Popovich is widely regarded as one of the best basketball coaches of all time, having guided the Spurs to five NBA Finals championships and Team USA to a gold medal at the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo.

He is the most successful coach in NBA history.

We have continuously contacted the Spurs for response over the last three days.
