The Georgia Bulldogs had the second most picks in the 2025 NFL Draft. Nonetheless, there were still highly regarded former Bulldogs available for signing in undrafted free agency. One of those guys was Nazir Stackhouse, a defensive lineman. On Saturday, CBS Sports’ Matt Zenitz claimed that Stackhouse had signed with the Green Bay Packers. Stackhouse was a three-year starter for the Bulldogs, standing 6-foot-3 and weighing 320 pounds. The defensive lineman helped Georgia win back-to-back national titles in 2021 and 2022. His highest statistical season was in 2023. Stackhouse recorded 24 tackles, including three for loss and two sacks.
Stackhouse played in 59 games and made 42 starts throughout his five seasons with the program. During the 2025 draft process, Georgia football head coach Kirby Smart spoke highly of Stackhouse. Smart praised the defensive lineman’s flexibility, durability, work ethic, tenacity, and leadership.
With the Packers, Stackhouse will get the opportunity to play alongside college teammate Warren Brinson. Brinson, a two-time Georgia champion defensive lineman, was picked by Green Bay in the sixth round at No. 198 overall.
Brinson was one of 13 Georgia prospects selected in the 2025 NFL Draft. The Bulldogs had the most picks among all SEC programs.
With 14, only the Ohio State Buckeyes had more. Brinson was among three Georgia defensive linemen taken in the draft. Mykel Williams was the first Bulldogs defensive lineman selected by the San Francisco 49ers, at No. 11 overall. Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins, a Bulldogs defensive lineman, was picked by the Minnesota Vikings in the fifth round at number 139 overall.
