With Luka Dončić joining LeBron James, the Los Angeles Lakers have increased their offensive potential.
With the offseason signings of Deandre Ayton, Marcus Smart, and Jake LaRavia, it is evident that they intend to challenge for a championship.
They may need to make a few squad adjustments to do this, and Lake Show Life’s Josh Cornellisen suggests a deal that might benefit both sides.
“(Austin) Reaves is a player that every team wants to keep around. That will change next summer, when he becomes a free agent and is expected to earn a large salary,” Cornellisen said on Monday.
“(Jaden) McDaniels has a cost-controlled contract for the next four years that will pay him like a mid-tier starter, roughly $27 million per season. He would complement Doncic in a way that Reaves does not.”
The proposed trade would be Austin Reaves and Jarred Vanderbilt for Jaden McDaniels and Joe Ingles.
