The Indiana Fever are officially eliminated from the WNBA playoffs after losing a winner-take-all Game 5 against the Las Vegas Aces in the semifinals. Unfortunately, many Fever fans wonder what would have happened if standout point guard Caitlin Clark, who missed the whole playoffs due to a groin ailment, had been available.

Many anticipated the Fever to prioritize getting Clark healthy ahead of next season, as well as reviewing the franchise’s strength training program to determine whether it needed to be modified to avoid Clark from missing any more time in future seasons.
However, one Fever executive has stated unequivocally that none of these are the franchise’s top priorities this offseason.
“I’m going to sound like a broken record: The number one priority will be Kelsey Mitchell and making sure she remains in a Fever uniform,” Amber Cox, the general manager, told reporters.
Fans responded to the revelation on social media.
