Since the Los Angeles Rams won the Super Bowl a few years ago, with Matthew Stafford at quarterback and Sean McVay on the sidelines, nothing has gone right for the storied franchise, with one disappointing season after another in the City of Angels.
The Rams haven’t been able to put it all together on the field since winning the Vince Lombardi Trophy, as the team has been ravaged by injuries and questionable trades that have sent key players to other teams.

With the Rams’ 2023 NFL season looking to be a disappointment, with injuries a problem once again and losses piling up, Pat McAfee felt compelled to ask Stafford if retirement was something he might consider in the future.
Stafford did not hesitate to explain why he is not considering retirement at this time, citing his love of the game and the camaraderie in the locker room in Los Angeles, according to The Pat McAfee Show.

Despite the fact that Stafford claims he enjoys playing too much to retire now, the veteran quarterback has struggled to stay healthy during his time with the Rams and may be forced to make a decision in the near future as a result.
The Rams are currently 3-6 on the season, with a somewhat difficult schedule ahead of them, including games against the Seattle Seahawks, Cleveland Browns, Baltimore Ravens, and San Francisco 49ers.
