SHOCKING: Matthew Stafford got Fans at SoFi end labyrinthine with huge Announcement

The Los Angeles Rams expected to keep Matthew Stafford for a long time after trading for him in 2021, and the Super Bowl-winning quarterback still expects that to be the case despite “the wheels wobbling” recently. Stafford appeared on The Pat McAfee Show on Friday, where he addressed rumors that “maybe he will hang it up” soon, telling McAfee that he has no plans to retire after the season. In fact, Stafford still wants to replicate Los Angeles’ Super Bowl run from 2021, saying he’s focused on helping the Rams get back there this year or next.

Stafford has not replicated his 2021 success. It’s not even close.

In 2021, the Rams quarterback threw 41 touchdowns, and even with 17 interceptions, L.A.’s offense was as potent as any in the league. Stafford, on the other hand, has dealt with numerous injuries throughout his body in the last two years and has struggled to find the end zone. Despite having Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp, arguably a top-5 duo right now, the Rams offense is one of the worst in the league this year, and Stafford has missed the last 1.5 games with a hand injury.

However, the Rams expect Stafford to return in Week 11 against the Seahawks as they look to rebound from a 3-6 record. The Rams signed Carson Wentz as insurance this week, but Stafford has made it clear that he has no plans to hand the team over to another quarterback anytime soon.
