BREAKING NEWS: NRL World surprised reactions to Bulldogs 2024 Draw Announcement

The NRL Telstra Premiership schedule for 2024 has been released, and the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs are delighted with a draw that provides Members and fans with a wide range of viewing options.

To begin, the Bulldogs will face off against archrivals Parramatta in Round 1. This blockbuster match will be sure to make a mark on what will be a new Breed of Bulldogs kicking off their 2024 campaign, a fierce territorial rivalry that dates back well into the 1980s. This will be a must-see away game at CommBank Stadium on Saturday night.

The Bulldogs will remain on the road in Round 2 as we travel to Shark Park (Pointsbet Stadium) to face the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks before hosting our first home game of the season in Round 3.

The Bulldogs will host the Titans in a Saturday afternoon family-friendly match at Belmore Sports Ground, with the Club hosting a slew of cultural performances, cuisines, and special acts before the game kicks off at 3pm. Because this event is frequently sold out, we recommend arriving early to secure your seat through Membership.

Round 4 will see the Club face the Rabbitohs in the annual Good Friday clash, while Round 5 will see the Bulldogs and Roosters meet 20 years after the 2004 Grand Final (the Bulldogs’ last Premiership title). Round 5 will also be Accor Stadium’s first home game of the season.

“These opening matches set us up well for a big 2024,” Bulldogs CEO Aaron Warburton said.

With a good mix of time slots ranging from a Thursday night marquee game to a mix of Friday and Saturday night games plus                                      Saturday and Sunday afternoons, the 2024 Bulldogs draw is sure to help the Club on an upward trajectory.

At-Home Members can expect to watch ten Fried-Night Footy (Friday Night) games and several Saturday afternoon/night games – a true entertainer’s paradise. Families can look forward to a number of afternoon timeslots that are ideal for children, and with the Club planning some really exciting initiatives for home games in 2024, these afternoon timeslots promise to provide more family-friendly experiences than ever before.

In 2024, the Bulldogs will be hosting the NRL’s Women In League Round at Belmore Sports Ground, so Round 22 will be extra special. With an NRLW entry submission in for 2025, the Club looks forward to celebrating the advancement and growth of the women’s game at home, and possibly celebrating a 2025 victory.

The Bulldogs’ Round 24 draw once again features a regional match against the Dolphins in Bundaberg, Queensland. “Last year’s event was fantastic,” said Warburton of the Club’s return to the popular location. We had a great game against the Dolphins, and this will be our third year in a row returning to the area.

“The community’s support for our Bulldogs family is incredible, and it’s a Round we look forward to every year.” We are committed to raising the bar and improving access for our local and visiting Bulldogs fans in 2024, as well as creating a memorable viewing and overall enjoyable match day experience.”

The Bundaberg Club returns with the support of the Queensland Government through Tourism and Events Queensland and Bundaberg Council. Queensland fans will be able to see their favorite players line up on four occasions this year, with games scheduled for Rounds 11 (vs Raiders for the Magic Round at Suncorp Stadium), 20 (vs Cowboys at QLD Country Bank Stadium), 21 (vs Broncos at Suncorp Stadium), and 24 (Salter Oval clash).

Fans in NSW can expect to see 18 games, while the Bulldogs will also travel to Melbourne for Round 6 (vs Storm at AAMI Park) and across the Tasman to play the Warriors at Go Media Stadium in Round 25.

“The Bulldogs are thrilled to be returning to Sydney for an additional home game in 2024.” “We understand the importance of hosting matches at our spiritual home ground, Belmore Sports Ground, while also delivering premium match day experiences through world-class stadiums like our home ground, Accor Stadium,” Warburton said.

The Bulldogs will play 16 of their 24 games in Sydney (three bye rounds), with two of those games taking place at Belmore (Rounds 3 and 22), and 11 at Accor Stadium, the Club’s official home ground. The Gema Group’s recent pledge to bring the best of our city’s diverse culinary culture to Accor Stadium adds to the home-field excitement and advantage.

The Club will finish the regular season with two home games against the Sea Eagles (Round 26) and Cowboys (Round 27) at Accor Stadium. See here for the complete Bulldogs season schedule.
