HUGE BLOW: RAPTORS are hit with serious injury set back as head coach Darko Rajaković ruled out two important Duo for Washington Wizard clash

The Toronto Raptors will be a little shorthanded against the Washington Wizards on Monday night.

The team announced that OG Anunoby and Gary Trent Jr. will be out. Both players were rated as questionable.

Anunoby was injured while doing housework on Sunday, according to the team. Because the injury is on his shooting hand, it’s unclear how long he’ll be out.

Raptors' Anunoby is realizing the vision he has for himself

Trent, on the other hand, will miss his second straight game due to right foot plantar fasciitis. He was injured during practice last Friday.

Expect Otto Porter Jr. or Gradey Dick to enter the starting lineup and provide Toronto with some much-needed three-point shooting. To compensate for the loss of depth, the Raptors will most likely use Chris Boucher, Precious Achiuwa, Malachi Flynn, and possibly Jalen McDaniels off the bench.

Without Anunoby, Toronto will most likely rely on Scottie Barnes and Pascal Siakam to guard Washington’s top scorers, Jordan Poole and Kyle Kuzma.

Despite impact slump, Raptors' Trent Jr. still puts in work to find old self again

Delon Wright (right knee sprain) and Danilo Gallinari (rest) will be out for Washington.

Even without Anunoby, the Raptors are -8 point favorites over the Wizards.
