Harbaugh is familiar with Panthers owner David Tepper. He appeared to want to discuss the Carolina job last year, but Tepper did not appear to be interested. Things could be different now that the Panthers have had another losing season, especially if Harbaugh is eager to join the team.

The question of how appealing the Carolina job is remains unanswered. However, the team does have Bryce Young and an owner in Tepper who is desperate for success.
