During an appearance on ESPN’s “Pat McAfee Show,” insider Adam Schefter says that his understanding is that Eberflus has “won some support” from Bears management, but said that the fight to keep his job remains ongoing.

That game in Cleveland, they had a genuine opportunity to win. I believe he has gained some support in this area and that he is fighting for his job, which he may be able to do in Chicago.
The Bears have now tied the NFL record for most defeats in a season when they have lost three times this season when holding a double-digit lead in the fourth quarter, according to CBS Sports.
On Sunday, the team was up of the Browns by 10 points going into the fourth quarter, but Joe Flacco scored 212 passing yards to help Cleveland win.
The Bears, who are currently certain of suffering through a losing season for the third straight year, will play their next game at Soldier Field on Sunday afternoon against the Arizona Cardinals.
