The starting lineup and alternates for Leicester City’s game against Southampton this evening( 8o’clock onset) have been blazoned by director Enzo Maresca.
With players ready to pick up where they left off following the recent transnational break, City is aiming to make it five palms in six games in the Championship. And excellent news for Leicester as Conor Coady returns to the lineup after injury.
During the preseason, he suffered a bottom injury versus Leuven. The platoon that fell to Hull City 1- 0 before the break has experienced three changes under Maresca. Yunus Akgun, Wout Faes, and Kelechi Iheanacho are replaced by James Justin, Jamie Vardy, and Stephy Mavididi.
Justin replaces Faes Faes drops to the bench with Justin coming by, suggesting Callum Doyle will play at centre- half alongside Jannik Vestergaard. Justin will niche in at left back.
