BREAKING NEWS: NCAA and Big Ten Reacts to Jim Harbaugh’s Superstitious Parents Taking Credit For Michigan’s Win

The Michigan Wolverines are on their way to the national championship game after snapping a two-game losing streak in the College Football Playoff. After beating Alabama in the Rose Bowl, they’ll now prepare for a game against Washington.

Following the Wolverines’ overtime triumph, Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh’s parents were asked for their opinions. They promptly claimed responsibility for UM’s success.

Michigan faced off against the Crimson Tide in an absolute heavyweight match. After trading blows with Alabama throughout regulation, it needed an extra session to win.

Michigan tied the game with less than two minutes remaining in the fourth quarter after trailing by a touchdown late in the quarter. They’d then secure the victory with an overtime Blake Corum goal and a defensive stand on the goal line.

After being restricted to 13 points in the first 55 minutes of play, the Wolverines scored 14 points on their final two real possessions. This included going scoreless in the second half after failing to maintain a drive longer than 21 yards.

So, what happened? Jim Harbaugh’s parents filled in the blanks.
“Before the long drive, Jackie decided that we should switch seats,” Jack Harbaugh, Harbaugh’s father, explained. “I moved to her seat, she moved to mine, and this is the result that we got.”

It’s as simple as that!

To keep blood pressure levels down, Michigan supporters may want that transition to come a little early in the national championship game. The Wolverines will face a Washington team for the championship on January 8th in Houston.

We’ll see if the Harbaughs can do it again.
