GOOD NEWS: Louisville Ranked No. 6 in AP’s All-Time Top 25

Louisville, KY: The Associated Press just released their all-time AP Top 25 poll in honor of their 75th anniversary of ranking men’s college basketball teams weekly. The poll combined the results of more than 1,200 AP polls that have been published since the publication of the first poll in January 1949 to create a single poll. Naturally, the men’s basketball program at Louisville ended up ranking well in the all-time list. The Cardinals were ranked sixth in the all-time AP Top 25 poll with 9,493 total votes. It should come as no surprise that Louisville finished considerably below the five programs that are almost widely recognized as the best in the sport.
