DONE DEAL: Georgia Bulldogs Land Promising Young Talented Quarterback From USC Trojans.

The Georgia Bulldogs never appear to be short on talent. However, the squad has witnessed a large number of players leave via the transfer window this offseason. We are starting to see clubs regain some talent now that the portal has been open for a time. On Monday, the Bulldogs signed former UNLV quarterback Jayden Maiava.

What the numbers say on new USC QB Jayden Maiava
The Georgia Bulldogs have signed quarterback Jayden Maiava.

Maiava had an outstanding season at UNLV. He was named Mountain West Freshman of the Year after throwing for 3,085 yards and 17 touchdowns. He also had 277 yards and three scores on the ground. Carson Beck is back for another year, but Georgia lost some quarterback depth this offseason. Maiava has a lot of potential and could rest this year before taking over as starter in 2025 and beyond.

Excellent Pickup In the case of Georgia

Brock Vandagriff exited the transfer portal and joined Kentucky. Dylan Raiola, a top prospect, changed his commitment to Nebraska. While re-signing Beck is fantastic, the quarterback position is the most crucial in football. Injuries happen, and teams need a reliable backup ready to go. Maiava introduces this to the show. He has proven that he can play well even in the Mountain West.
Can the Georiga Bulldogs make the College Football Playoff again in 2024? They are looking to maintain their momentum into next season after a dominant victory in their bowl game.
