BREAKING NEWS: MLB Predictions for Next Red Sox World Series Appearance And WhyRed Sox Won’t Play in the World Series Again Until 2031

Since the turn of the century, Boston has seen quite the sporting comeback, especially with regard to its beloved Red Sox.

The Red Sox went from having won no titles in 86 years to four in a 15-year period from 2004 to 2018. They have won the entire competition every time they have won the ALCS since 2004. That’s a significant improvement over being afflicted by the Great Bambino’s Curse. However, it was five years ago. And it’s practically forever in Boston time now.

Red Sox Won’t Play in the World Series Again Until 2031, Per MLB Prediction

The social media team at MLB released a visual on all of their social media channels that made predictions for the next ten World Series matches and winners. According to their estimates, the only time they envision the Sox making it to the Fall Classic comes in 2031, when they have them losing to the Chicago Cubs.

All that Sox supporters can hope for is that this is incorrect and that the Sox take immediate action. Their expectations have risen significantly since they were cursed and predicted to suffer the worst outcomes in the twenty-first century.

Expectations of a speedy resolution appear to be diminishing. Although the ownership group consistently refuses to release the pocketbook strings and challenge clubs like the Los Angeles Dodgers and New York Yankees on prominent free agents, Craig Breslow is presumably an improvement over Chaim Bloom.

Either there will need to be a significant upsurge in youth development before they can field a World Series team, or the front management needs to make some changes.

Without it, it might be optimistic to anticipate even one World Series appearance in the ensuing ten years.

If the Red Sox hope to climb out of the AL East cellar and challenge for another championship, they have a lot of work ahead of them. While the rival New York Yankees and Baltimore Orioles are stacked and primed for battle, the Red Sox have been largely silent this offseason.

Any Red Sox fan’s only concern is when the next parade is scheduled. The MLB appears to believe that it may take some time in regards to the Red Sox.
