BREAKING NEWS: Steelers Head Coach Mike Tomlin strange actions amid question about his Steelers future as signs as job security now in jeopardy

Mike Tomlin wasn’t dealing with any questions about his future in Pittsburgh after the Steelers loss to the Bills on Monday.

Though Tomlin’s future has been the subject of rumours, the head coach of the Steelers chose not to address the matter immediately following his team’s playoff elimination.
When a reporter tried to bring up the matter during Tomlin’s postgame news conference, he simply walked off the podium.

“Mike, what’s left on your contract? One year,” the reporter tried to inquire.

However, Tomlin dashed towards the door before they could complete their idea.
Although Tomlin’s departure from the Steelers is not desired, rumours have it that Tomlin is unclear of his plans beyond this season.

Pro Football Talk revealed on Sunday that Tomlin might ink a new contract with the Steelers and would confer with his family over his future in the game.

Tomlin’s contract has one year left on it, and this is the first time he’s reached this point without having a contract extension in place.

“From our perspective, the options are as follows: (1) agree to a new contract with the Steelers; (2) resign and bide your time until another team approaches the Steelers about obtaining his contractual rights in 2024; (3) resign, serve a year as a free agent, and hope that a different team approaches the Steelers about obtaining his rights in 2025; or (4) decline to sign an extension, conclude his contract in 2024, and become a free agent,” the report from Pro Football Talk stated.
