BREAKING NEWS: Ohio State Head Coach Ryan Day Issued Stern Warning Michigan’s after losing their former head coach Jim Harbaugh

The Wolverines have discovered Jim Harbaugh’s replacement by studying Ohio State, just a few days after it was revealed that he would be departing Michigan to rejoin the NFL.

Sherrone Moore, Michigan’s offensive coordinator, will take over as head coach after a season in which he nearly filled in for Jim Harbaugh on the sidelines for the same number of games. After serving a ban for recruiting infractions for the first four weeks of the season, Harbaugh served a second one for the final three games due to a sign-stealing controversy that dominated the regular season conversation.

Moore filled in as head coach on game days during those periods, which included victories over Penn State that produced an emotional postgame interview and a 30–24 victory over the Buckeyes to end the regular season. Now, in what will be his first head coaching position, he assumes complete responsibility for the role.

The Buckeyes employed this procedure in 2018 when Ryan Day took over for Urban Meyer after the latter’s retirement. Day, like Moore, filled in as interim head coach for a spell during that season while Meyer was suspended.
With Moore taking over the program, Michigan has some stability going into the offseason after losing its head coach and several key players from a team that won a national championship. However, there’s a danger that he might be entering a position where the sign-stealing issue still has unresolved consequences.

Over the past month, Ohio State has been preparing for a season in which all the pieces appear to be falling into place for them to win the national championship. This includes seeing Harbaugh, who has been the focal point of Michigan’s problems in The Game for the last three years, go.

Even if that man is no longer there, the man who helped him deliver the winning blow this past season by standing on the sidelines is still eager to establish himself. Day and Moore, the two protagonists of what is perhaps the greatest rivalry in sports, will, at the absolute least, square off again on November 30 in Columbus.
