BREAKING NEW: Raptors Open for Business making Most Players Available for Trade

Following the trades of forwards Pascal Siakam and OG Anunoby earlier this season, the Toronto Raptors appear to be preparing for a fire sale.

According to Josh Lewenberg of TSN, only forward Scottie Barnes, guard/forward RJ Barrett, and guard Immanuel Quickley are considered untouchable. Everyone else is likely to be available before the February 8 deadline for an agreement. Quickley and Barrett were part of the Anunoby-New York Knicks transaction.

Bruce Brown could become Raptors fan favorite after great debut, press conference

“Multiple league sources have confirmed the obvious, the Raptors appear to be open for business, and outside of Scottie Barnes and the two former Knicks (Immanuel Quickley, RJ Barrett), everything and everyone is on the table,” Lewenberg said in a statement. “If they can turn any of their vets — Gary Trent Jr., Dennis Schroder, Chris Boucher, the newly acquired Bruce Brown or perhaps even Jakob Poeltl — into picks or prospects that would help push the rebuild forward, it’s hard to see them passing that up.”
The Raptors are also expected to trade guard Bruce Brown, who they acquired in the Siakam trade with the Indiana Pacers.

Toronto (16-28 as of Friday night) has dropped out of the playoff race, sitting in 12th place in the Eastern Conference under first-year coach Darko Rajkovic. The Raptors have won only two of their last ten games.

So, more trades? Yeah, they might and should be on their way.
