This offseason, the New York Mets acquired Juan Soto from the New York Yankees. To try to replace him, they have brought in Paul Goldschmidt, Devin Williams, Max Fried, and Cody Bellinger. Pete Caldera of NorthJersey.com forecast that they would acquire another superstar through a trade throughout the season.
