In the few months since being appointed head coach of Kentucky Football, Will Stein has created a lot of buzz. His work on the recruiting road has been absolutely unparalleled, in addition to igniting fans at his press conference and with a dozen and a half quotable statements subsequently.
At least from the perspective of Lexington residents. On his way to a top 10 recruiting class, Stein has often outperformed other rival programs for well-known recruits. Now, he’s nearing another opportunity to keep his hot run going.
Four-star cornerback Miles Brown has formally announced his commitment date, which will be broadcast live on the Rivals YouTube channel, according to Rivals. The standout defender will select between Ole Miss, Tennessee, Louisville, and the Wildcats on May 19.
Coach Stein finds himself running with the big dogs once more. If he can discover a method to prevail in this battle as well as many others, it won’t be long.
Winning the Major Conflicts
It’s just a matter of rinsing and repeating his recipe as Stein gets ready to face the rival Cardinals and Volunteers—something he hasn’t been bashful about, particularly with regard to the former.
Just last week, Stein won four-star wide receiver Iveon Lewis over South Carolina and Virginia Tech, who is currently led by lifelong Kentucky foe James Franklin. On the Rivals YouTube channel, he also declared his commitment.
Is it a coincidence? Most likely, but stay with me.
Regarding Brown, no formal crystal ball has been used to forecast his commitment as of yet. He did, however, travel to Kentucky in April, and according to Tom Loy of 247Sports, “the trip couldn’t have gone better.”
It’s evident that smoke is rising around Brown’s large blue connection. However, all three of the aforementioned rival programs are pushing for the corner with comparable vigor. As the week comes to an end, there will be a traditional recruit-out.

An All-Around Sportsman
At 5-foot-11 and 188 pounds, Brown leads the class of 2027 as one of the top 50 players in his position. In high school, he participated in baseball, basketball, and football, but his potential seems to really soar on the field.
According to Andrew Ivins, Brown played both sides of the ball in 2024 and finished with 39 tackles and three interceptions. He finished just under 1,000 yards as a receiver, catching 54 catches for 16 touchdowns.
This talent would make a significant contribution to Stein’s 2027 team because of his unique hands.
Brown’s promise would be the most recent victory for Stein and his staff, who have already assembled a formidable and competitive team.
When Brown goes live, BBN, tune in and show him how much the world’s greatest fan base loves him!
