PLATTEVIEW, Nebraska – The Subdistrict C1-1 Girls Basketball Tournament began on Monday, with Falls City, the fourth seed, defeating Conestoga, the fifth seed, 47-28. Two seniors, Ashleigh Kirkendall with 17 points and Ava Armbruster with 11 points, topped the Tigers. Ayla Garrett scored eleven points for the Cougars, and Davida Garrett chipped in with nine. Falls City advances to play Platteview on Tuesday night at 5:45 p.m. as the host and number one seed. After that, you may watch Syracuse vs. Auburn in a 2v3 battle on B103 & B103.FM.
