HOT DEAL: New Orlean Saint Are Set to land An Explosive Return Man After The Draft As Confirmed By Club GM Mickey Loomis

The New Orleans Saints added seven players in the 2024 NFL draft, but the process was only beginning.

The Saints have already begun to bolster their roster with undrafted free agent acquisitions. Here’s a running list of who’s been added.

Idaho WR / KR Jermaine Jackson:

The Saints have a history of finding a gem of a return guy during the undrafted free agent period, and they may have done it again. The 5-7, 170-pound Jackson was a good receiver, but he excelled as a returner, averaging 30.4 yards on kick returns and 16.4 yards on punt returns over his career.

Vanderbilt P Matthew Hayball: The Saints’ incumbent Australian punter will face competition from… another Australian punter. Hayball was a Ray Guy Award nominee last season and was sixth nationally in punting average (47.6 yards per punt).

Nebraska OG Nourdin Nouili: Nouili, a native of Frankfurt, Germany, started 11 games for the Cornhuskers last season, the majority of which came at right guard. He entered Nebraska as a walk-on.

Colorado State TE Dallin Holker: In his final season at Colorado State, Holker caught 64 passes for 764 yards and six touchdowns, earning All-American honours.

Boston College OG/OC Kyle Hergel, a Toronto native, attended three colleges (North Dakota, Texas State, and Boston College). He allowed only two quarterback hurries while playing 12 games as left guard for the Eagles last season.

Yale WR Mason Tipton: The Yale product had a strong senior season, leading the Ivy League in touchdown receptions (10) and ranked sixth in the FCS.

Oklahoma State Edge Nathan Latu: The 6-foot-4 Latu had 7 sacks and 9.5 tackles for loss in his final two years at Oklahoma State.

Slippery Rock wide receiver Kyle Sheets: Sheets has good size (6-2, 217) and decent speed (4.52-second 40-yard dash), and he put up big statistics at a tiny school with 76 catches, 1,186 yards, and 17 touchdowns.

TCU S Millard Bradford played five seasons at TCU after transferring from Fork Union Military Academy. He recorded four career interceptions and allowed no touchdowns last season. Despite being designated as a safety, he spent the season playing nickel cornerback.

Tulane C Sincere Haynesworth: Haynesworth will stay in New Orleans after five years at Tulane. He recently earned first-team All-AAC honours. His favourite sportsman is Tom Brady.
