DONE DEAL: OFFICIAL- Atlanta Brave Have Officially Resign Their Beloved Playoff Hero

The Atlanta Braves have taken their player home.

Mark Bowman of MLB.com reported on Friday that the Braves are reconnecting with veteran outfielder Eddie Rosario. The 32-year-old Rosario is returning to the organization on a minor-league contract and will report to Triple-A Gwinnett, Bowman says.

Rosario was a huge postseason hero for the Braves as they won the 2021 World Series. He was selected NLCS MVP following a remarkable performance against the Los Angeles Dodgers, during which he hit three home runs (including the game-winning homer in Game 6). Rosario batted.383 during Atlanta’s 2021 postseason run and has forever cemented his name in the hearts of Braves fans.

After Atlanta declined Rosario’s 2024 contract option, he signed with an NL East division opponent. Rosario, who was designated for assignment earlier this month, will now return to the Braves as another lefty-hitting option in the outfield.
