Mehdi Taremi was extensively linked with a summer move to AC Milan but never signed with the club. The Rossoneri, on the other hand, are still interested in him and have held negotiations with his entourage.
Milan tried for several weeks this summer to sign the Iranian international, but the talks fell through at the last minute. However, the hunt is far from done, as new contacts have been made.
According to Corriere Dello Sport, as published by MilanNews, Milan recently met with Taremi’s entourage to explore the possibility of a free move in the summer. This time, however, there will almost certainly be a lot more competition.
Meanwhile, in the No.9 position, Stefano Pioli will rely on Olivier Giroud, Noah Okafor, and Luka Jovic. Given the Frenchman’s age, it’s evident that an attacking reinforcement is required for next season.
