SHOCKING STATEMENT: Lions HC Dan Campbell Issues Official Declaration On Jahmyr Gibbs Fans Are Weeping Over..

As people finalize their bold predictions for the next Detroit Lions season, there is one component that everyone is waiting to learn about: star running back Jahmyr Gibbs’ injury. Lions head coach Dan Campbell is motivated for the season and spoke about Gibbs on Wednesday, so the development should thrill supporters.

Gibbs is battling with a hamstring ailment, which he hopes won’t prevent him from having an explosive start to his second season in the NFL after shining in his rookie year. According to NBC Sports, Campbell believes Gibbs “looks really good” and is pleased with what he has displayed in practice thus far in preparation for the opening on Sunday.

“He looks really good,” Campbell added. “I think this is the trick with Gibbs, and we tell him so. … When you can sprint like he does — and this guy can run — if you don’t reach that speed in practice at least once or twice a day, you’re setting yourself up for something to happen on Sunday. Because you haven’t — you’re a person who sprints 22 miles per hour, you better touch it because the first time you touch it in a game when someone is chasing you, I’m racing away, and awful things happen.”

“When you have supreme speed, that’s where you can kind of pull away in practice,” he said. “You pull away, but you’re not — you didn’t have to actually turn it on until you were into the game. So, I believe the solution is just teaching him on it and forcing him to do it so that he does not suffer a setback. So, we’re working on it; he’s doing it, and we like where he’s at.”

Lions’ Jahmyr Gibbs provides insight into his injuries.

Gibbs was selected as the 12th overall choice in the 2023 NFL Draft out of the University of Alabama, where he carried for 945 yards and 10 touchdowns for the Lions. He also caught 52 receptions for 316 yards and one touchdown. According to ESPN, the excellent Lions running back would also confidently discuss his injury, claiming that it was only a “tweak” and that he is “98-100 percent”.
