The Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs are the only two teams left. They will compete for Super Bowl 59 on Sunday, a rematch of Super Bowl LVII.
The Eagles have won five straight games, dating back to the regular season. Despite playing in the Super Bowl, the Eagles had some injury worries entering the game.
Zach Berman of PHLY appeared on the Anthony Gargano Show on Monday to discuss Philadelphia’s injuries. During his visit, he indicated that if the Eagles had played this past Sunday, all starters would have played without hesitation. This is great news for Eagles supporters.

The Eagles’ injury report heading into the Super Bowl was lengthy, giving fans cause for anxiety. LB The injury report includes Zack Baun (groin), RB Saquon Barkley (rest), WR A.J. Brown (rest), G Landon Dickerson (knee), RB Kenneth Gainwell (concussion/knee), TE Dallas Goedert (rest/ankle), C/G Cam Jurgens (back), and WR DeVonta Smith (hamstring).
The greatest questions revolved around Dickerson and Jurgens. Dickerson started at centre in the NFC Championship Game after Jurgens’ back issue forced him to be an emergency option.
Dickerson then injured his knee, and Jurgens stepped in as a substitute. There was real uncertainty that they would be ready to leave, but the extra time off helped tremendously.
Berman said that Dickerson and Jurgens would not have been considered questionable and would have played.
Last week, the Eagles took their top players off their feet while they implemented the game plan. That decision paid off handsomely, providing these guys with the much-needed time off.
Philadelphia will be relatively healthy going into this game against the defending Super Bowl champs, which is big.
