BREAKING NEWS: Alabama and Kalen DeBoer Has Lose Their Most Experience and Highly Rated 5-Star Receiver to LSU

When it comes to recruiting, things cannot literally alter at any moment. This is awful news for Alabama’s football team. Just last week, things were going well for Kalen DeBoer with 5-star wide receiver Boobie Feaster.

After an unofficial visit to Tuscaloosa, Feaster was raving about everything Alabama, and numerous recruiting gurus believed the Tide had risen to the top of his list. However, everything has altered after a trip to Baton Rouge.

Feaster, who is ranked five stars by Rivals and four stars by On3 and 247Sports, paid an unofficial visit to LSU over the weekend, and things couldn’t have gone better. Things went so well, recruiting gurus Chad Simons and Steve Wiltfong both predicted that Brian Kelly would land him.

RECRUITING NEWS: LSU The Favorite To Land Boobie Feaster? | ELITE 5 Star WR Reclassifies To 2026!

Elite WR Boobie Feaster is now expected to commit to LSU.
For Alabama fans, this is not good news. Feaster was originally a member of the 2027 class, but he later reclassified as 2026. He quickly established himself as one of the top wide receivers in the country for the ’26 class, owing to his exceptional talent.

According to the 247Sports Composite, he is the country’s No. 6 wide receiver and the 46th best player overall. He has an impressive 50 offers to his name. Feaster is slated to travel to Texas later this month to meet with Steve Sarkisian, and Oregon and Dan Lanning will also receive a UOV from him in late April.

However, now that Simmons and Wiltfong have made their recommendations for Kelly to sign Feaster, things could change. After the year DeBoer and Alabama had recently experienced, the Crimson Tide hoped to land Feaster and set the tone for the remainder of the ’26 recruiting class.

Losing him to LSU would be a huge disappointment, especially since he had such a good experience on campus with the Tide.
