GOOD NEWS: Legendary QB Unretire to Join Raiders for Late-Season Run

The AFC is currently in disarray, with seven teams having five or six wins. The Las Vegas Raiders are currently 5-6, but they are not out of the playoff picture.

The quarterback play, on the other hand, could be what’s holding them back. Before being benched, Jimmy Garoppolo led the NFL in interceptions, and rookie Aidan O’Connell has thrown three touchdowns to six interceptions in five games. If the defense continues to play at a high level, the Raiders have enough talent to make the playoffs.

In a November 21 X post, Jimmy Garoppolo of the Boston Globe floated the idea of Tom Brady coming out of retirement to play for the Raiders.

While Volin is most likely joking, it’s an intriguing idea. Brady is in the process of acquiring a stake in the Raiders and clearly still enjoys football. He retired during the offseason, but a return is not out of the question.

There are numerous teams that could be interested in signing Brady if he decides to return, but the Raiders would be an easy fit for him. He already has a relationship with owner Mark Davis, and the team continues to use an offensive system in which he believes.

It’s still a long shot that he returns to the field, but the Raiders may want to look into him if they believe they can go on a run with the right quarterback.

Some recent comments have contributed to the increased interest in a Tom Brady return. The future Hall of Famer stated that he is not pleased with what he sees on the football field these days.

“I think there’s a lot of mediocrity in today’s NFL,” Brady said on November 20’s “The Stephen A. Smith Show.” “I don’t see the excellence that I saw in the past.”

Dov Kleiman on X: "The #Raiders are actively looking into signing pending free-agent QB Tom Brady. "I can tell you, unequivocally, it is a fact. The Raiders are looking into signing Tom

Brady then provided more information about what is wrong.

“I don’t think the coaching is as good as it was,” he told reporters. “I don’t believe the development of young players is as good as it once was.” The rules have allowed a lot of bad habits to creep into the game’s actual performance. I simply believe the product is inferior to what it has been.”

Brady has only been out of the NFL for a little over a year, but his time away has clearly caused him to take a closer look at the game.

This would be an excellent time for Tom Brady to make an unforgettable comeback. The Jets, Vikings, and Bengals are all good teams that have lost their quarterbacks for the season. The Raiders are a talented team in desperate need of a quarterback.

If all goes well, Brady could come in and save the day for a number of teams, which would only add to his legacy. However, if he hasn’t returned by this point, it appears that he is officially retired. He previously stated that he would only come out of retirement once, and it appears that he was correct.
