JUST IN: Broncos HC Sean Payton break silence as he send message to Broncos dressing room after Texans end winning streak

Sean Payton still has a lot of hope for a postseason ticket with the Denver Broncos. However, he cannot help but be mature and recognize how his blueprints failed the Russell Wilson-led team when they faced the Houston Texans. CJ Stroud outplayed the veteran quarterback in every aspect of the game. According to Zac Stevens of DNVR Sports, this is what prompted the head honcho to wake up and make changes for the sake of their season.

Sean Payton pinpoints the major components that led to the Denver Broncos' remarkable turnaround

“It begins with us coaches, with me. We must improve our performance. Houston, give credit to DeMeco Ryans; those guys earned a hard-fought victory. But we didn’t play our best football, and we’ll have to do so down the stretch here,” said Sean Payton after the Broncos’ five-game winning streak was snapped.

In this loss, it was the Texans’ secondary that struck fear into the hearts of fans. Russell Wilson was forced to surrender three offensive possessions after throwing three interceptions. More importantly, CJ Stroud came out firing against the Broncos’ defensive squad. The young offensive engine led the team to 5.6 yards per play, surpassing the Broncos offense’s 4.8.

Payton and the Broncos have games to win, which should be easy. They will play the Los Angeles Chargers, Detroit Lions, New England Patriots, and Las Vegas Raiders. Overall, a postseason berth is never out of the question, nor is a trip to the Super Bowl. However, it will take some time.
