More Controversy: Jerry Jones Sends Strong Message To Eagles Owner amid controversial moment and NFL reaction to pleads

This season, the Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys have split their two meetings.

Even so, the Cowboys may have the upper hand right now because they were the superior team both times.
Mike McCarthy’s team made a big statement on Sunday night, defeating their opponents 33-13 on national television.

PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA - NOVEMBER 05: Owner Jerry Jones of the Dallas Cowboys looks on during the first half in the game against the Philadelphia Eagles at Lincoln Financial Field on November 05, 2023 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
That is why team owner Jerry Jones is so optimistic about his team right now.

In light of this, he reportedly told Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie that he hopes to see him again this season (via Jori Epstein).

“God, I hope we get to play again,” Jones expressed his hope to Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie.

Of course, another meeting would occur during the postseason, and it would be critical for both teams for obvious reasons as well as their shared history.

The Eagles and Cowboys have one of the most heated rivalries in the National Football League, if not all of professional sports.

These teams and these players don’t like each other, and you can tell it means more to them every time they step onto the field.

The Cowboys have already come up short far too many times, but it appears that they are finally ready to put their problems behind them and go the distance this season.

The Eagles have been exposed in back-to-back games against their two most formidable opponents, and it appears that they are flattening out at the worst possible time.

In a win-or-go-home situation, anything can happen, and a playoff matchup between these two juggernauts will be a huge win for the fans and the league.
