BREAKING NEWS: Insider Projects Massive NFL record breaking $60 new Contract for star QB

Dak Prescott, the Dallas Cowboys’ star quarterback, has been the subject of much scrutiny in recent years, particularly because of some very poor performances in big games.

Early this season, there was even talk that the Cowboys might give up on him and take a chance on young backup QB Trey Lance, whom they acquired in a preseason trade.

But, so far, Prescott has answered those critics with some brilliant sustained play, and he’s now widely regarded as the favorite to win the regular-season MVP award.

His contract is set to expire soon, and there has been some speculation that he will receive a large extension this offseason.

He could become the first quarterback in NFL history to earn $60 million per season, according to The 33rd Team.

Prescott has completed 69.3 percent of his pass attempts this season, totaling 3,505 yards and a league-high 28 passing touchdowns.

He has led Dallas to a five-game winning streak in which they have scored at least 33 points in each game, allowing them to lead the NFL in scoring.

Prescott’s main beef is his poor playoff performance, particularly against the San Francisco 49ers the last two seasons.

He threw three interceptions in a 42-10 loss to the Niners in Week 5 of this season, which some considered his worst game of his career.

If Prescott leads the Cowboys to a playoff victory over San Francisco and their first Super Bowl title since 1995, he will have proven that he is truly deserving of $60 million per year.
