JUST IN: Kevin Stefanski send shocking massage to Bill Belichick ahead of Texans game, NFL and fans reaction.

The Cleveland Browns have had their share of coaches and decision-makers, but few have been successful.

Notably, whenever you find yourself alongside Bill Belichick on any list, you know you’re doing well.

Kevin Stefanski could enter Bill Belichick territory as early as Sunday, according to Nick Karns of The Barking Browns Show on Twitter.

Cleveland Browns: Kevin Stefanski named head coach of the week, again

With a win over the Houston Texans, he will tie Bill Belichick for the fifth-most wins as head coach of the Cleveland Browns.

Needless to say, 36 wins isn’t a particularly impressive total, and he’s still a long way from matching the legendary Paul Brown’s 158 regular-season victories.

But it’s still nice to see some organization stability.

Stefanski began the season on the hot seat, with some questioning his decision-making and clock management skills.

However, he has made significant progress this season, and the fact that he has been able to lead this team to a potential postseason berth despite having four different quarterbacks and a slew of injuries on both sides of the ball is simply remarkable.

The Browns made significant moves in the offseason to ensure that everything went their way this year, but as you may have guessed, that was not the case.

Even so, it gave Stefanski and a slew of other players a chance to show what they’re made of, and he’s earned the right to be in charge for the foreseeable future.
