BREAKING NEWS: The Tigers are set to hijack Texas A&M Deal for five-star receiver who was committed to Alabama in 2022

Holmon Wiggins, Alabama’s wide receivers coach, is reportedly leaving the Crimson Tide to accept the same position at Texas A&M.

The Auburn Tigers are interested in this situation because of five-star receiver Ryan Williams.

Williams has been committed to Alabama since October of 2022, but the Auburn Tigers are making a late push for one of the top prospects in the 2024 class.

He is presently preparing to play in the Under Armour All-American event alongside Auburn receiving signees Cam Coleman and Perry Thompson, thus his attention is most likely focused on this event rather than his college decision.
However, as the dust settles following the All-American game, Wiggins’ departure for Texas A&M could have an impact on Williams’ recruitment and undoubtedly aid the Auburn Tigers.

Williams will be on the Plains for a visit on February 3rd, giving Coach Freeze and his staff another chance to land a player who many believe will be a first-round pick in the NFL Draft in the future.

If Auburn could lure Williams away from Alabama, the Tigers’ wide receiver class would be one of the best in college football history.

Perry Thompson tweeted this shortly after it was reported that Higgins would be visiting College Station.
