HUGE TENSION: Browns Move to Adjust star QB Joe Flacco’s contract due to Latest club Discoveries

Few could have predicted how far QB Joe Flacco and the Cleveland Browns would go together when they signed him to the practice squad. Flacco was acquired a few days before Thanksgiving to assist newly appointed starters Dorian Thompson-Robinson and PJ Walker.

After agreeing to an active roster contract with Flacco in mid-December, the Browns were assured of a playoff spot by late December.

The organization had to make an unusual $75K decision as part of Flacco’s deal. Flacco got that amount for every game in which he started and the team won. The Browns are sitting veterans in Week 18 in order to protect them.

That means Flacco will not be able to collect the $75,000 incentive.
