The Toronto Raptors appear to be finally prepared to embark on a comprehensive rebuild and enter a new chapter, even though it took them some time.
They already broke up with Pascal Siakam and OG Anunoby, receiving a ton of draft capital and some intriguing talents in exchange.
According to a report by Josh Lewenberg (via Evan Sidery), the organization has now put every player available for trade, with the exception of Scottie Barnes, the franchise cornerstone, and the recently acquired Immanuel Quickley and RJ Barrett.
This is not only understandable, but it also makes sense.
Negotiating with Masai Ujiri has never been easy, and he is notorious for overpricing his possessions.
But if he wants to really recover some assets this time, he’s going to have to come to an agreement somewhere in the centre.
Given that the current NBA champion has already generated a lot of attention throughout the league, Bruce Brown Jr. may probably earn them another first-round selection.
PF/C As a big man, Chris Boucher is a compelling choice since he can both stretch the floor with his shooting ability and offer some rim protection.
