JUST IN: Auburn basketball ranked inside AP Top 25 for the first time this season

At last, Auburn basketball has secured a spot in the top 25.

Before beginning SEC action this weekend on the road against the Arkansas Razorbacks, the Tigers (10-2) play one final non-conference game against the Penn Quakers tomorrow night.

Auburn basketball dominates the paint to take care of business against Chattanooga

After Auburn defeated the Mocs 101-66 over the weekend, forward Johni Broome said, “Chattanooga is a very good team, and Penn is a very good team as well.” “Teams like this are scheduled by our coaches to help us improve before conference play. We must ensure that we manage business, prepare for the SEC, and close out this week strongly.

Coach Bruce Pearl stated, “We have Penn coming in on Tuesday. Penn beat Villanova earlier this year.”

We’ll have a tremendous opportunity because Penn is an older, more competitive team.”

The Tigers’ season-ending victory over Chattanooga in 2023 propelled them into the AP top 25 for the first time.
