The person who spoke on condition of anonymity claimed that Callahan has notified the Browns that he is accepting the position since the clubs are keeping their comments to themselves during the interview process. Since 2020, the elder Callahan has been a member of Cleveland coach Kevin Stefanski’s staff.
The Titans, who fired Mike Vrabel on January 9 after two losing seasons, just hired Brian Callahan. Since 2019, the 39-year-old younger Callahan has served as Cincinnati’s offensive coordinator.

When speaking about his father during his inaugural press conference, Brian Callahan broke down in tears.

“I don’t think there are many fathers and sons who have been head coaches in the NFL,” he remarked. “I think it’s really arrogant of him and myself to be affiliated with that. Living this lifestyle means that you will encounter many ups and downs as well as obstacles in your coaching career.
