Michael Thomas appears unlikely to return to the New Orleans Saints next season, and a prominent AFC team has been identified as a possible destination for the veteran wide receiver.
In an insider story published on Sunday, ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler stated that scouts saw the Baltimore Ravens as a potential bidder for Thomas if the Saints trade or cut him.

According to Fowler, the Ravens are unlikely to re-sign Odell Beckham Jr., and they value having proven players at wide receiver.
Thomas and the Saints have been at odds for a long time. Thomas went rogue while recovering from ankle surgery a few years ago, publicly criticizing the team’s handling of the injury. He’s been the subject of countless trade rumours, but New Orleans maintained him on a reworked contract last season.
Last season, Thomas had only 39 receptions in 10 games. He attacked Derek Carr and the Saints on social media following the season, so it would be surprising if he stayed with the team in 2024.
